Our team

Data Center Serbia relies on the knowledge and experience of the team that is constantly growing and developing skills.

Dr. Aleksandra Bradić-Martinović is the head of Data Center Serbia and senior research associate at the Institute of Economic Sciences, Belgrade.

Aleksandra graduated and obtained her master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, where she was employed for fifteen years. Operatively, she applied knowledge in various fields, business evidence, monitoring and analysis of stock quotes, applied and scientific projects. She finished her PhD thesis in 2011. In the field of data collection and sharing in social sciences, she joined in 2012 through the FP7 SERSCIDA project, and then she gained knowledge and experience through projects SCOPES SEEDS, RRPP Data Rescue, H2020 CESSDA SaW, as well as through international conferences, workshops and expert seminars. Aleksandra also leads the Digital Resources Center of the Institute of Economic Sciences and she is the representative of the Republic of Serbia in the General Assembly of CESSA ERIC.

Jelena Banović, MA, is a data manager and researcher trainee at the Institute of Economic Sciences, Belgrade, and the coordinator of DCS. Jelena is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. The areas of interest are data management and archiving of data in the field of social sciences. She participated in two international projects in the field of building infrastructure for archiving research data in social sciences, SCOPES: SEEDS – South-Eastern European Data Services and RRPP Data Rescue.
